Hello everybody! Thank you for clicking on my blog. My name is Alexis Keith, currently a student at Arizona State University, studying Digital Media Literacy, and formerly a Division I volleyball player whose life took a bit of a turn from what I thought it was going to be. I “played” (I say played lightly because I quite literally was hurt the entire time) college volleyball at both Eastern Washington and the University of the Pacific before medically retiring due to a knee injury. But that entire experience has so deeply shaped who I am, and I wouldn’t change it for the world, as I learned to be more hardworking, competitive, and always pushing myself to grow in uncomfortable situations. This blog (while for an ASU course) is a space for me to combine my love for life, social media, and, honestly, just talking about myself. Whether I’m talking about social media, wellness, coaching, mental health, life as a 25-year-old girl, or navigating post-athlete life, I want this blog to be a space that feels honest and relatable. I am SO passionate and have the biggest love for all things digital media, especially content creation and social media, so be prepared for a big look into that aspect of my life as I (hopefully soon) graduate from ASU. I’m still figuring things life as I just turned 25, but I’m really excited to share pieces of my journey here.
